Who this policy covers
This policy applies to watreecare.com.au and to personal information collected through it. It is written to align with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Tree Loppers and Tree Removal Fremantle operates as a referral service. Enquiries made here are passed to an independent tree services contractor so they can contact you, quote the job and carry out the work. That disclosure is the main reason your information is collected, and it is explained further on the about page.
What is collected
Information you give us. When you ring or submit the enquiry form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the suburb or address where the tree is, and whatever description, measurements or photographs you provide about the job. If you ring, a note of what was discussed may be kept so the contractor can quote it.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the web server and analytics tools record technical data about your visit: IP address, the page you arrived from, the pages you viewed, the date and time, your browser and operating system, and the device type. This is aggregated traffic data and is not used to identify you personally.
We do not collect government identifiers, payment card details or health information through this website, and you should not send them to us. Nothing is charged through this site, so there is no payment information to hold.
Why it is collected and who it goes to
Your enquiry details are used to respond to you and to refer you to the independent contractor covering your area. They receive what they need to contact you and quote the tree — your name, phone number, email, the address of the job and your description of it. From that point the contractor handles your information under their own privacy obligations, and any contract for the work is between you and them.
Information may also be disclosed to the service providers who host this website and run the enquiry forms and analytics, on terms requiring them to protect it, and to a court, regulator or law enforcement body where required or authorised by law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your details for marketing unrelated to the tree enquiry you made.
Forms and third-party processing
The quote forms on this site are embedded from GoHighLevel (LeadConnector). What you type into a form is submitted to and stored on that provider's systems before it reaches the contractor, which may involve servers outside Australia. If you would rather not use a third-party form, ring 08 7741 1934 instead.
Cookies and analytics
The site sets cookies only where a page function or an embedded form requires them, and uses analytics to understand which pages are read and how people arrive. Cookies of this kind are small files stored by your browser; they do not read other files on your device. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the enquiry form may stop working correctly if you do.
There is no advertising network profiling, no remarketing pixel and no data broker on this site, so there is no consent banner for something the site does not do.
Storage, security and retention
Information is stored electronically with the hosting and form providers described above, which may include servers located outside Australia. Reasonable steps are taken to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, including access controls and encrypted connections. No transmission over the internet is completely secure and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Enquiry records are kept only as long as needed for the purpose they were collected and for any period required by law, then deleted or de-identified. Aggregated analytics data that does not identify you may be kept longer.
Access, correction and complaints

Note that once an enquiry has been referred, the contractor holds their own copy. Ask them directly as well if you want their record removed.
